Safety Rated Helmets

Any person mountain on a horse horse stable pony on the race track grounds must wear a properly secured safety helmet at all times.

The helmet must comply with one of the following minimum safety standards or later revisions:

ASTM 1163

European standards :EN– 1384 or PAS- 015 or VGI

Australian – New Zealand standards: ( AS/NZ3838 or ARB/HS 2012)

snell equestrian standard 2001

Clerk of scale shall report to the Stewart any varieties of safety helmet scenes during the course of their work.

The stewards shall inspect safety helmets at the beginning of a race meet and randomly threw out the race meet.
